In the world we live in today, even our recommended portions of fruit and veg per day can no longer guarantee that we will actually get the nutrients our body needs to function properly. Why? Because the soil in which these fruits and vegetables have been grown have been over harvested and the soil no longer contain enough nutrients to pass on to the crops to pass on to us.
